Leverage the resources available throughout LA INC. to secure incremental revenue through strategic partnerships. Develop and monitor strategic partnership sales strategy and budget. Initiate high level sales and renewal meetings with prospective and current strategic partners. Develop and customize sales presentations targeted for potential partners. Oversee contracts and execution of activation elements within the contracts. Manage internal and external communications related to strategic partners. Identify cross promotional opportunities with partners. Facilitate regular partner meetings and the annual partner summit. Directly supervise support staff, activation elements, value on investment recap reports and partner communications. In general, increase revenue though development of LA INC cash sponsors, program cash sponsors, media partnerships, trade partners and co-op partners.
Job Requirements
Education/Training
College degree with a minimum of five years experience in sponsorships. Business Degree preferred. Knowledge of sponsorships, sales, activation, recap reports, contract compliance preferred.

Key Responsibilities
1. Leverage the resources throughout LA INC. to ensure synergy, maximize incremental revenue and safeguard sponsors from competitors messaging
2. Develop and monitor sponsorship sales and servicing strategy, budget goals and expenses, to be approved by the President & CEO
3. Identify and prioritize prospective sponsors
4. Participate in select high level sales and renewal meetings
5. Oversee sponsorship contracts
6. Serve as main strategic point person for high level relationships with sponsors
7. Identify cross-promotion opportunities among corporate partners
8. Oversee the management and upkeep of the sales/servicing database
9. Manage internal and external communications related to sponsorship in cooperation with other departments, specifically media relations
10. Work with research department to customize LA INC. audience research studies to include sponsor related questions and develop a customized survey for sponsors
11. Oversee annual sponsorship survey to determine partner satisfaction levels
12. Work with agency to produce Value On Investment reports
13. Facilitate annual Sponsor Summit
14. Directly supervise the Strategic Partnerships Manager and Salesperson
Additional Sales Responsibilities (until Salesperson is hired)
15. Serves as lead salesperson for new sales and assists with renewals
16. Customize master sales materials for targeted companies. Prepare promotional overlays based on prospect hot buttons
17. Negotiate sponsorship deal terms
18. Submit changes in packaging and targeting strategy for approval
19. Once sponsor is secured, facilitate ongoing and regular meeting with sponsors to discuss implementation of activation strategies, progress of accomplishing objectives and satisfaction levels
20. Work with Strategic Partnerships Servicing Manager to ensure all contract elements are understood for fulfillment purposes
21. Serve as liaison with LA INC. staff and agency to determine elements in contract and ensure those benefits will be executed once contract is in place…advertising, web, literature distribution, signage, hospitality, etc.
22. Facilitate cross promotional ideas among sponsors to include in potential contract
23. Involvement in ongoing meetings for contract execution and implementation details
24. Work with sponsor to determine methods to measure the success of their partnership before contract is in place.
25. Participate in development of customized sponsor fulfillment reports
26. Assist sponsors in tracking results of their partnership with LA INC. by quarterly return on investment reports
27. Maintain sales/prospect database and generate weekly activity report.
28. Assist in coordination of annual Sponsor Summit
29. Other projects and sponsorship responsibilities as assigned.
